My girlfriend and I are lucky enough to be heading out to Russia soon, but to be honest with you I know absolutely nothing about the country! Worried that we might find ourselves there with no idea what to do when we got there, we decided to take a look online and see what sort of activities we could get up to on our travels.

Firstly, we were heading to Moscow, so we decided to purely search for activities in the Moscow area. Obviously Russia is a huge country so it would make no sense whatsoever to be looking at things to do across the whole country – we would end up spending all of our time travelling instead of having fun! I found a map of moscow
so that we could make sure everything we found was within easy reach of our hotel.

The one thing I had always wanted to do was see the moscow circus perform. One of my friends had been lucky enough to see them when they were touring England some fifteen years ago, and he still talks like it today. I wanted to make sure that I would be able to see them in their home town, and sure enough we would be able to do that when we went.

We really wanted it to be a special week, so we decided that our approach should be no holds barred! It was for this reason that I started to investigate what we could do there in terms of visiting their space stations. Russia are famous for winning certain aspects of the space race, and I thought it would be fantastic to experience some of their training and preparation centres. It turned out that you can arrange to experience their entire travel itenery to space program!

Needless to say we signed up for these activities, knowing that our trip to Russia would be one to remember forever.
